Year Focus is designed to work without collecting personal data or sending your information to external servers. The extension does not use analytics, trackers, advertising, or third-party SDKs.
Year Focus does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. This includes (but is not limited to) browsing history, websites you visit, page content, identifiers (such as name or email), precise location, or device identifiers.
To provide its core functionality, Year Focus stores limited information locally in your browser using

This data remains on your device and is not sent by the extension to any external server.
If you use the export feature, the extension generates a file locally on your device. If you use import, the file is processed locally in your browser. Year Focus does not upload this file or its contents to any server.
Year Focus does not make network requests as part of its normal operation.
Year Focus does not sell, share, or disclose your data to third parties.
Year Focus requests only the permissions required for core functionality:
You can delete your locally stored data at any time by using the reset option in the extension’s Settings or by removing the extension from Chrome (which removes the extension’s local data).
